I just spent about two hours playing psychiatrist to Maria. I think it’s the first conversation I’ve had with her wherein she did not repeat herself. She actually paused for me to give input. At those times I spoke to her, saying that this is how the person she was dealing with might have felt. Oftentimes, I predicted what the person did.
“Wow, are you a psychic?” She asked once.
“No, just a psychologist.”
A Hitchhiker’s Guide quote came to mind as this was said.
“Wow, that’s impossible!”
